“The Sidewinder” is a 1964 album by Lee Morgan, recorded at the Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The title track is perhaps Morgan’s best-known composition. This edition is from the 85th Anniversary Treasures Of Blue Note Series and comes on 180-grams blue coloured vinyl. The pressing is from the same mastering as the 80th Anniversary by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, all-analogue from the original master tape. Sounds and looks amazing!
