“One Flight Up” by Dexter Gordon was recorded on June 2nd 1964 in Paris and released via Blue Note the following year. The session also featured Donald Byrd on trumpet, pianist Kenny Drew, bassist Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, and drummer Art Taylor. This is the 2021 reissue in Blue Note’s “Tone Poet” series, and features a high quality remaster on 180-grams vinyl, in a heavy-weight, high-gloss sleeve. Exceptionally brilliant reissue, brand new!
