Black Flag • LP

Black Flag with Henry Rollins on vocals live in London in 1984. Ultra rare bootleg with top notch artwork and a great performance!
In 1983 Black Flag was embroiled in a legal dispute with MCA over distribution of the album “Damaged“. Until the matter was sorted out, the band were prevented by a court injunction from using the name “Black Flag” on any recordings. They released “Everything Went Black“, a compilation of unreleased earlier recordings, credited to the individual musicians. When the court matter was solved, Black Flag was freed legally to release albums, and went full steam ahead. The band recruited bassist Kira Roessler to replace Chuck Dukowski, and began its most prolific period. 1984 saw Black Flag at their most ambitious. This year they would release three full-length albums, and toured nearly constantly, with Rollins noting 178 performances for the year.
This item was released around 2007. We have one copy for sale and it’s in perfect shape. Impossible to find but we got one!
