“In The Fishtank” was a project of Dutch independent music distributor Konkurrent. In this project, Konkurrent invited a band (or in some cases, multiple bands) who were touring through the Netherlands at that time to record, and gave them two days studio time.
In 2000 Konkurrent invited Low to record a session. Low, being familiar with the series, accepted. In the spirit of “In The Fishtank”, Low took things a step further and extended the invitation to their friends Dirty Three to collaborate on the session which took place when both bands played the multi-media festival Crossing Border in Amsterdam. 2013 reissue, brand new item!
