“El Unico” is a latin album by Alberto Beltran Con La Sonora Matancera Y Otros. This release is a compilation of previously released tracks with La Sonora Matancera and other orchestras. The album contains mostly boleros, but some of these tracks are not actually boleros per say, as they are performed at a faster beat so as to make it a bolero mambo (which can be danced as a mambo but at a slower pace as in a cha cha).
This is the original 1961 release on the Tropical label, in good shape. Heavyweight vinyl, and a nice heavy tip-on sleeve. Beautiful album!
