“Magic Potion” is the fourth studio album by The Black Keys, originally released in 2006. It marked their major-label debut with Nonesuch Records. It was also their first album to feature entirely original material, containing no blues cover songs. “Magic Potion” was recorded entirely in drummer Patrick Carney’s basement studio in Akron, Ohio, and it features only Dan Auerbach’s heavy fuzz guitar and vocals alongside Patrick Carney’s hard-hitting drums. The lead single “Your Touch” was prominently used in the HBO series “Eastbound & Down”.
