Left Hand Path

Entombed • LP

39

The blueprint for Swedish death metal, and one of the best metal albums ever made.

Entombed’s “Left Hand Path” is known for defining the style of Swedish death metal by being the first studio album to use the “buzzsaw” guitar tone, which was created by heavily detuning the guitars to B, and using a maxed out Boss HM-2 distortion pedal through a Peavey amplifier. The originator was guitarist Leif “Leffe” Cuzner, who left the band during their demo phase when they were still called Nihilist.

This is the 2017 full dynamic range remaster on yellow vinyl (SOLD OUT), purple vinyl, and silver vinyl (SOLD OUT). Perhaps the best sounding version of this classic. Still in shrinkwrap and unplayed, only opened for inspection!
