Heartwork

“Heartwork” is the fourth studio album by Carcass. The album was originally released by Earache Records in 1993. It has often been described as the band’s masterpiece, as well as a landmark album in melodic death metal. The album was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. The sculpture depicted in the cover art was designed by H.R. Giger, and is an update of a sculpture he created in the late 1960’s.
