“Big Beat From Badsville” is the seventh studio album by the Cramps, originally released in 1997 on Epitaph Records. The album is a wild mix of trashy rock ’n roll, primitive garage, rockabilly and psychobilly, and captures the band’s twisted sense of fun and their love for the weirdest corners of American music and pop culture.
The album was recorded and mixed at engineer Earle Mankey’s house in Thousand Oaks CA, in May 1997, produced by Poison Ivy and Lux Interior. It is the only Cramps album to consist solely of original songs.
This is a brand new reissue on red vinyl via the Cramps’ own Vengeance Records label, sounds amazing!
