Walk Among Us

Misfits • LP

Punk took a step forward when The Misfits released “Walk Among Us” in March of 1982. To date, it’s the only album they ever released while they were still a functioning unit with the classic line-up of Glenn Danzig on vocals, Jerry Only on bass and his younger brother Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein on guitar. Originally released by Ruby Records and its parent label Slash Records, it was the first full-length Misfits album to be released although it was the third to be recorded. The recording sessions took place at multiple studios in New Jersey and Los Angeles between June 1981 and January 1982, and the album also includes the live track “Mommy Can I Go Out And Kill Tonight” which was recorded live in New York.

Officially licensed from Warner Music to Earache Records, the audio for this vinyl is taken from the original master tapes, which have been supplied directly from Warner. Coming in a brand new sleeve variant with a green logo and a pink sky, the vinyl is pressed on 180 gram heavyweight coloured vinyl and is hailed as the best sounding edition to date of this punk classic.
