Cool vintage early Rolling Stones 7-inch single in the “Favorieten Expres” series on the Decca label.
“The Last Time” was the band’s first original song released as a single in the UK. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. “Play With Fire” is credited to Nanker Phelge, a pseudonym used when tracks were composed by the entire band, even though Jagger and Richards are the only Rolling Stones to appear on the track. Both songs were recorded in January 1965 at RCA Studios in Hollywood.
Super old item but in good shape. The sleeve has become unglued and has a stamp on the front.
