Powerslave

Iron Maiden • LP

35

“Powerslave” is Iron Maiden’s fifth studio album, originally released in 1984. Following the conclusion of their highly successful World Piece Tour in December 1983, the band took three weeks off in January 1984 before regrouping in Jersey where they rehearsed for six weeks. As with its predecessor “Piece Of Mind” (1983), this was where most of the album’s writing took place. The band then recorded it at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas, and mixed it at Electric Lady Studios in New York. The following World Slavery Tour began in Poland in August 1984 and ended in California in July 1985. The monumental stage set echoed the album cover.

This is the 40th anniversary reissue, and the first ever Iron Maiden zoetrope picture disc vinyl release, featuring unique artwork. The original sleeve has been expanded and contains new artwork and exclusive notes from Steve Harris. Brand new and sealed!
