“Lost Paradise” is the debut album by Paradise Lost. After their formation in 1988, Paradise Lost released three demos before being signed to Peaceville Records in 1989. They recorded “Lost Paradise” at Academy Music Studio in December of that year. The album was released in February 1990, and features the band’s early death / doom metal style, before they invented the gothic metal genre.
This is the 2014 reissue on 180-grams vinyl with printed inner sleeve and features the excellent bonus track “Internal Torment II”.
