A rare insight into the workings of Crass, spattered with the workings of Beethoven’s fifth. Originally recorded in early 1982 in Crass’ rehearsal studio at Dial House, “Christ Alive” documents the ofttimes gruelling process behind the making of a song. It was finally mixed at Allen Road Studios in 2020 and released as part of Record Store Day 2021.
