Following the 2023 reissue of "The Kids Will Have Their Say", Trust Records now re-releases "Get It Away" on vinyl for the first time in almost three decades. This is the first officially sanctioned repress of the album since its initial pressing back in 1983. Whether "Get It Away" is already one of your favorite albums, or you’re hearing it for the very first time, this is the definitive version of one of hardcore’s most important releases.

While the first album was recorded during multiple sessions on 8-track recorders, "Get It Away" was recorded on 24-tracks at Downtown Studios in Boston in 1983. From the distortion-drenched groove of the opener “Glue” to the blistering chaos of “Under The Influence” and the avant-tinged experimentation of “Xclaim,” "Get It Away" effortlessly captures a moment of Boston at a time before the scene was codified. The cover was done by Pushead, who would later become famous for his artwork for Metallica.

Available on blue / black split vinyl (SOLD OUT) and on black / clear / blue split vinyl! Both versions include a flexi 7-inch with the Christmas song "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas" on it, recorded shortly after the "Get It Away" sessions.

"The Kids Will Have Their Say" is the debut album by Boston's SS Decontrol. The album was released in 1982 as a split-release between Dischord and X-Claim records. Only 1900 copies were pressed and it wasn't repressed for decades, making it quite a collector's item and prices went up for over €1000 for a decent copy.

The album was reissued for the first time in late 2023 by Trust Records and was remastered by Dave Gardner from the original analog tapes. Those tapes were meticulously restored by a wizard named Dan Johnson from Audio Archiving Services. Bryan Ray Turcotte recreated the packaging to match the original XClaim version. It's badass!

Available on transparent / black split vinyl, red vinyl (SOLD OUT) and orange vinyl!

DFL's "My Crazy Life" was recorded at the Beastie Boys' G-Son Studios in Atwater Village in 1993 with Ad Rock himself on bass. Beastie Boys producer Mario Caldato recorded the record, and it was released in 1993 on the Beastie Boys imprint Grand Royal Records as a 7-inch and CD. It is now available for the first time as an LP, remastered from the original analog tapes, and also includes an unearthed live recording from G-Son Studios.

The record not only stood as a landmark release because it featured one of the Beastie Boys playing back-to-basics hardcore punk, but also because the record was composed of short songs built off Messex’s smashing riffs and Davis’ deranged howl. While most records were getting bigger and more polished, DFL was one of the few that made their music shorter, faster, and rawer. Since the album’s release, "My Crazy Life" has remained a cult record, prized by the hardcore scene due to its ferocious sound and askew lyrics... and also because it is really, really, really good.

We have two variations for sale, on blue vinyl (SOLD OUT) or on split green vinyl. Comes with lots of supercool bonus items! The packages include:

Coloured LP with die-cut printed inner sleeve

20-page fanzine

Additional 20-page oral history A4 printout

Large folded poster

Stickers
