At the end of summer 2026 Gram Records will release the second Hvalross album!

Hvalross is a four piece from Roosendaal, founded in 2018. The hardrock and heavy metal from the seventies and eighties is rooted deep in their sound, supplemented with influences from contemporary stoner and heavy rock. In 2020 they released their debut album "Cold Dark Rain", followed by a series of digital singles with new songs. So, now it is time to collect them all on album number two. The tracks were remixed and remastered for vinyl by Erwin Hermsen at Toneshed in Horst, and sound big, fat and amazing. The illustrations were done by the infamous Nozzman.

The first pressing is limited to 200 copies and will come on swamp-green splatter vinyl. Includes a full color 8-page booklet!

Highly recommended for fans of Mastodon, Red Fang, Alice In Chains, King Diamond or Black Sabbath.

"Blessed Black Wings" is the third studio album by High On Fire. Critics in particular praised Steve Albini's production of the album. This version comes as a purple coloured double LP and contains a bonus track, "Rapid Fire", originally by Judas Priest.

"DCLXVI: To Ride, Shoot Straight And Speak The Truth" is the fourth album by Entombed, released in 1997. The cover art features a statuette of the Aztec god Mictlantecuhtli. This album shows a continuation of the rock & roll sound previously established on 1993's "Wolverine Blues", but eschews most traces of traditional death metal in favor of a stoner rock and garage rock influenced sound.

This is an original tape from 1997 in great shape! Great album, great item!

Master Of Reality

"Master Of Reality" is Black Sabbath's third album originally released in 1971 by Vertigo. The album is the foundation of doom metal and stoner rock, and is considered one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time. In the studio, Tony Iommi downtuned his guitar 11⁄2 steps in an effort to reduce string tension, thus making the guitar less painful for him to play. This pain was the result of a factory accident years earlier in which he had the tips of two of his fingers severed. The downtuning also helped the guitarist produce a heavier sound. Geezer Butler also downtuned his bass guitar to match Iommi. In Mick Wall's biography of the band he wrote: "the Sabbath sound took a plunge into even greater darkness. Bereft even of reverb, leaving their sound as dry as old bones dug up from some desert burial plot, the finished music's brutish force would so alarm the critics they would punish Sabbath in print for being blatantly thuggish, purposefully mindless, creepy, and obnoxious. Twenty years later groups like Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden and Nirvana would excavate the same heaving lung sound and be rewarded with critical garlands".

This is a 180 grams vinyl reissue from the 1970's on NEMS, and lacks the original embossed lettering on the front cover. Sounds amazing, everything is as good as new!

The debut album by Otis from 2007, produced by Patrick Delabie and Vincent Koreman. The album was well received by the press, comparing Otis to Helmet, At The Drive-In, Fugazi and Black Flag at the time.

Storm Is Coming

The second Otis album "Storm Is Coming" was released in 2009 and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio 195 by Patrick Delabie. The album features lots of guests and experimentation, and a lyrical theme build around Arthur Rimbaud's poem "Le Bateau Ivre" from 1871. The front cover painting was done by Nozzman. Next to the comparisons drawn when the first album came out, this time the press also spoke of Botch, Drive Like Jehu and Breach. The 10-minute closing piece got compared to the music of John Zorn, The Ex and Godflesh.
