"Remember My Song" is the fifth studio album by Labi Siffre. Originally released in 1975, it was the first of Siffre's two albums released that year, the other being "Happy". Despite having some notable backing musicians such as Big Jim Sullivan co-producing, Brian Bennett of the Shadows on drums, and Chas & Dave who would become well known in their own right, the album did not chart. The album garnered a resurgence of interest in 1999, when its opening track "I Got The..." was sampled by Eminem on his first hit "My Name Is", eventually leading to the whole album being reissued.

This is the 2024 reissue on heavyweight vinyl, sounds amazing!

Down's debut album "NOLA" was written mainly by Phil Anselmo and Pepper Keenan between 1990 and 1995. Throughout 1991 to 1993, the band released a number of demos featuring almost all the songs that would later become the album. In an effort to build a fanbase, the members of the band would ask metal fans if they had ever heard of this band Down and hand them tapes without telling the person that they were in the band. Eventually, Down played a small concert in its home town. A record executive from EastWest Records was attending the show. When he found out who the members of the band were, he signed Down on the spot. The band recorded the album in 1994 and 1995 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is the 2016 reissue on double vinyl, which is perhaps the best sounding version of the album to date. Killer item!

"Slowly We Rot" is Obituary's debut album from 1989, and the only Obituary release to feature bassist Daniel Tucker. Lead guitarist Allen West would leave soon after but returned for the third album, "The End Complete" (1992). "Slowly We Rot" remains an essential album of both death metal and in the band's discography, and has been noted for its innovations in extreme metal.

"John Wesley Harding" is the eighth studio album by Bob Dylan, originally released in 1967 by Columbia Records. Produced by Bob Johnston, the album marked Dylan's return to semi-acoustic instrumentation and folk-influenced songwriting after three albums of lyrically abstract, blues-indebted rock music. "John Wesley Harding" shares many stylistic threads with, and was recorded around the same time as the prolific series of home recording sessions with The Band, partly released in 1975 as "The Basement Tapes". The album was exceptionally well received by critics and sold well. The commercial performance was considered remarkable considering that Dylan had kept Columbia from releasing the album with much promotion or publicity.

This is the 2010 mono reissue by Music On Vinyl, in great condition!

"GP" is Gram Parsons' debut solo album, and the only one released during his lifetime. It was originally released in 1973 and received critical acclaim upon release, but failed to reach the charts. Emmylou Harris, an unknown singer from Washington DC, was recommended to Parsons by Chris Hillman. Harris recalls, "I would say until I had met Gram and started working with him I didn't really understand or have a real love or feel for country music. Like most of my generation, you know, country music was politically incorrect for us at that point. It was associated with Republicans and right wing and that sort of thing. He taught me the beauty and the poetry, the simplicity, the honesty in the music. And the love of harmony came from really singing with him."
