The third and final Otis album. In 2012 Otis spent an entire week at an isolated cottage in the south of France and came back with ten new songs, which were rehearsed, rearranged and recorded on various dates throughout 2013 by Patrick Delabie at Studio 195. For fans of Mastodon, At The Drive-In, Jesus Lizard, Weedeater and Snapcase.

The coloured versions were believed to be sold out years ago but a recent cleanup in the Black Death Records stockroom uncovered a box that contained the final ones, only available here at Gram! We got:

Black vinyl
Solid orange vinyl (200 pressed)
Clear and silver mixed vinyl (100 pressed)

Comes in a beautiful sleeve with UV spot varnish lettering and includes a CD copy.

This is a time capsule which pretty much documents the largest part of the West Brabant underground from the mid-90’s up until now - almost chronologically - on an insane 90-minute mixtape. The debut album by Otis from 2007, produced by Patrick Delabie and Vincent Koreman. The album was well received by the press, comparing Otis to Helmet, At The Drive-In, Fugazi and Black Flag at the time.

Storm Is Coming

The second Otis album "Storm Is Coming" was released in 2009 and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio 195 by Patrick Delabie. The album features lots of guests and experimentation, and a lyrical theme build around Arthur Rimbaud's poem "Le Bateau Ivre" from 1871. The front cover painting was done by Nozzman. Next to the comparisons drawn when the first album came out, this time the press also spoke of Botch, Drive Like Jehu and Breach. The 10-minute closing piece got compared to the music of John Zorn, The Ex and Godflesh.
