Unquestionable Presence

"Unquestionable Presence" is the second album by Atheist. It was released in 1991 and added a new sound by using jazz-like harmonies, subtle Latin rhythms and unusual time signatures. Bassist Roger Patterson wrote the bass lines for "Unquestionable Presence", but died in a touring van accident before the recording sessions took place. His work, however, can be heard on the pre-production demos included with this re-release. Tony Choy was brought in as a replacement to play bass on the album, which was recorded at Morrisound Recording with Scott Burns.

Schizophrenia

After the highly acclaimed re-recordings of the first two Sepultura releases ("Bestial Devastation" from 1985 and "Morbid Visions" from 1986) founding brothers Max and Igor Cavalera went on and re-recorded their 1987 landmark album "Schizophrenia".

The updated production gave the songs the punch and atmosphere that they needed, making the new Cavalera version of "Schizophrenia" an album to be revisited and not to be missed.

Overdriver

Less than three years after their chart-storming comeback record "Eyes Of Oblivion", Sweden's most consistently great rock outfit is back with another banger of an album. "Overdriver" was recorded at Strawberry Studio and Honk Palace and is the first Hellacopters album entirely produced by Nicke Andersson. As you might expect from a Hellacopters record it's filled to the brim with roaring guitars and earth-shattering grooves, fist-raising energy and anthemic choruses, while keeping the variety richer than ever before. The striking cover for "Overdriver" was created by German illustrator Max Löffler.

Grande Rock

In February 2024 the Hellacopters finally reissued not one, but two stunning versions of their classic “Grande Rock” album. “Grande Rock Revisited” has been remastered by Henke Jonsson, and furthermore has been completely remixed by Michael Ilbert at Hansa Studios, Berlin using the original multi-track tapes and reanimated with a whole lot of additional layers of rock!

The result presents how the record could have sounded in a parallel universe with Dregen being in the band at the time, and with a more balanced mix, something the band had been pondering about for quite a while. “We all love loud guitars”, Nicke Andersson explains, “but not at the expense of drums and bass, which is pretty much the gist of the original mix. It’s ALL guitars”. So whether you do not want to spend way an insane amount of cash for one of the rare original LP's or are excited to hear a revamped, re-rocked new mix of “Grande Rock”, “Grande Rock Revisited” gives you both plus a double-album-cover design by Nicke added as visual treat on top!
