"It felt good to be a part of this endeavor, having our children exposed to this material that we've been working on," says Oldham. "I’m excited that my own relationship to music from childhood is still with me, and arming our children and potentially other children who hear this, and adults of course, with that kind of an arsenal of words and ideas is really exciting. When my daughter sits in the backseat of the car singing - "Oh the devil is a flower..." - I just think that's gonna be worth something to her".

A man who acts under the name Will Oldham and a singer songwriter who performs under the name Bonnie "Prince" Billy has, over the past quarter of a century, made an idiosyncratic journey through, and an indelible mark on, the worlds of indie rock and independent cinema, intersecting with such disparate figures as Johnny Cash, Björk, James Earl Jones, and Glenn Danzig along the way. These songs were recorded for the soundtrack of "Spirit Of Akasha", a film celebrating 40 years of Morning Of The Earth. It is limited to 1000 copies. Each 7-inch comes with a fart-cloud sticker drawn by Nathaniel Russell on the outer protective sleeve. This copy also includes a bonus unused sticker.

"Afternoon" is an art book by Ashley Macomber accompanied by a 10-inch vinyl record by Bonnie "Prince" Billy with two exclusive songs. It is based upon the adaptation of the poem "L'Apres Midi d'un Faune" written by Stephane Mallarme in 1865. It was originally put to music by Claude Debussy and popularized in the 1912 ballet, "Afternoon Of A Faun" by Nijinsky.

Limited edition of 1000 copies, this is copy #425, in great shape.
