Nuns Have No Fun

"Nuns Have No Fun" (or "Mercyful Fate EP") is the first official release by Mercyful Fate. It was recorded and mixed at Stonesound Studio in Roosendaal, The Netherlands, in two days in September 1982 and was originally released on the independent label Rave-On Records. The album in its entirety was later reissued in 1987 as part of "The Beginning", a compilation album.

In 2020, after being unavailable for almost 40 years (and original pressings having become crazy expensive) the EP was finally reissued by Metal Blade on 12 inch vinyl again. The first song, "A Corpse Without Soul", was famously covered by Metallica on their "Garage Inc." album. Brand new, still sealed!
